According to the 2005 National Health Interview Survey, 6.0% of adults ages 18 to 44 reported that they must limit their participation in "usual activities" -- such as work, school, and play -- for health reasons. The proportion of adults who have to limit their activities for health reasons was higher for older age groups, with 15.7% of adults ages 45 to 64 and 25.8% of adults ages 65 to 74 years reporting limitations.
