Michael D. Giandrea received his Ph.D. in economics from Boston College in 2002 and a B.S. from Bates College in 1994. Dr. Giandrea is a Research Economist at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics where he writes about productivity growth issues and bridge job employment of older workers.
His research in the retirement field includes the paper, “Are Traditional Retirements a Thing of the Past? Recent Evidence on Retirement Patterns and Bridge Jobs,” with Kevin Cahill and Joseph Quinn.
